What can microneedling treat?

How does microneedling work?

Secret RF microneedling entirely rejuvenates your skin by creating tiny puncture wounds. With each pass of the Secret RF tool, tiny micro-fine needles penetrate your skin and create hundreds of tiny channels in the skin.  Radiofrequency heat is then introduced through these channels to the level of the collagen.  This stimulates a series of healing events, where cells start regenerating and tissues begin repairing. This process remodels the collagen creating smoother, younger, and healthier appearing skin. Over time, new skin tissue and collagen develop.

When will I have results after microneedling?

In some cases, Dr. Lisko suggests pairing your microneedling treatment plan with platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments.  PRP is created by drawing off some of your own blood and spinning the blood in a centrifuge.  This allows Dr. Lisko to isolate your platelet rich plasma. PRP has stem cells and numerous growth factors.  Your PRP can then be injected into the skin to correct fine lines and wrinkles or may be applied topically and introduced into the skin with the microneedling device.  Both topical and injected PRP optimize even further your treatment results with microneedling.
